Marian was led to victory by Mckenna Stover and Elsa Vedral. Stover dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Vedral scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was Vedral's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jolie Hefflinger, who scored six points.
Despite the defeat, Papillion-LaVista South saw an underclassman step up: Addison Medeck dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Medeck's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyric Judson, who scored eight points.
Marian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Papillion-LaVista South, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
