The Rock Hills Grizzlies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 52-16 victory over Natoma on the road. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Despite the defeat, Natoma saw an underclassman step up: Lillian Carter scored two points along with 11 rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lynae Paget, who scored seven points.
Rock Hills is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Natoma, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Hills will face off against Lincoln on Friday. Rock Hills is coming into the matchup with three straight wins on the road, meaning Lincoln will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Natoma, they will take on Stockton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stockton's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Natoma's offense will have their work cut out for them.
