Angie Falls made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Sariah McNabb was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Joie Ramos was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
Xavier College Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Desert Ridge only managed one hit.
Xavier College Prep's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5-3.
