Shaker entered their tilt with Webster Schroeder on Sunday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Webster Schroeder Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 58-43. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Warriors are ranked 112th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shaker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peyton Hoblock, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 14 points and six steals. Jayla Geter was another key player, putting up 20 points.

Shaker's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Webster Schroeder, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shaker will take on Albany Academy for Girls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Shaker's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches. As for Webster Schroeder, they will welcome St. Mary's at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
