Wilson Hall is 6-0 against Camden Military since February of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Wilson Hall Barons will square off against the Camden Military Spartans at 4:30 p.m. Hopefully Wilson Hall focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
Wilson Hall proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 21) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Laurence Manning Academy and snuck past 47-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wilson Hall.
Daniel Burton was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, Camden Military's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their ninth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 60-40 walloping at the hands of Trinity Collegiate. Camden Military has not had much luck with Trinity Collegiate recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Wilson Hall has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Camden Military, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Wilson Hall took their win against Camden Military when the teams last played on Tuesday by a conclusive 63-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilson Hall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
