Hughson entered their tilt with More on Monday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Gavin Gomez looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, Beau Blake was incredible, firing off two home runs, three RBI, and one double while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Fisher, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Hughson lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Hughson pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for More, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hughson will face off against Escalon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for More, they will challenge North Valley Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
