The White Mountain Wolves pushed their score all the way to 65 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 78-65 to Gambell. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for White Mountain in their matchups with Gambell: they've now lost eight in a row.
White Mountain's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaden Adams, who scored 23 points, and Jadyn Barr who scored 19 points. Adams is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tristan Ashenfelter, who scored ten points.
Gambell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Damian Campbell-Newhall out in front who scored 22 points. Campbell-Newhall continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Koozaata, who scored 16 points.
White Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Gambell, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
White Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gambell also has no future games currently scheduled.
