Madison-Grant is a perfect 10-0 against Eastbrook since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Argylls will take on the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Eastbrook will be up against a hot Madison-Grant squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Argylls were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over Tri-Central on Monday.
Mae Ricks made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ricks was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
In other pitching news, Olivia Dunham looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Johnna Hiatt was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Patricia VanMatre also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Madison-Grant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in seven consecutive contests.
Eastbrook came out on top against Southwood on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run sixth inning. The Panthers put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 13-1 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Delanie Elliott was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Elliott was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gracie Elliott, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Olivia Legg was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four runs and two RBI.
Madison-Grant pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Eastbrook, their record is now 6-3.
Madison-Grant was able to grind out a solid win over Eastbrook when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 6-2. Will the Argylls repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
