The Cornerstone Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 73-24 loss at the hands of Bishop Gorman. Cornerstone Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Bishop Gorman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joseph Richbourg, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Evan Thibodeaux was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Cornerstone Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Bishop Gorman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.
Cornerstone Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bishop Gorman will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lucas Christian Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
