The Plaquemine Green Devils won the last time they faced the East Iberville Tigers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Plaquemine managed a 40-36 victory over East Iberville.
Plaquemine found their leader in underclassman Comora Davis, who scored 14 points. Latyrian Perkins was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Plaquemine's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for East Iberville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.
Plaquemine is on the road again on Friday and play against Baker at 5:00 p.m. on January 5th. Baker is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. East Iberville will take on Dutchtown at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
