Basketball Recap: Long Island City's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Long Island City had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Flushing Red Devils on Monday as the Long Island City Bulldogs made off with a 36-16 victory. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Long Island City's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Flushing, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Queens Complex the next time they take the court. Flushing will host Queens Complex at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Long Island City will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on December 16th.
