New Albany had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Watkins Memorial Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

New Albany has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Watkins Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Coming up, New Albany will square off against St. Charles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Watkins Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
