Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Olean). They put the hurt on the Fredonia Hillbillies with a sharp 71-47 win on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Huskies have posted since February 9, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Fredonia lost, don't look at Colin Luce. Despite the final result, he went 11 for 15 on his way to 24 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Luce a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Putney, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

With the win, Olean broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. As for Fredonia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Olean will venture away from home to challenge Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fredonia, they will take on Dunkirk at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
