In other batting news, Axl Grounds made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4.
Paden's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for New Lima, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paden will square off against Earlsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Paden will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
