Colin Kolb produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Oakland Christian to the win on Friday. Kolb rushed for 278 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 57 yards.
For the year, Kolb has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 199.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 32.8 rushing yards per game.
