Highland suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 39-16 walloping at the hands of Pleasant. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Highland has suffered against Pleasant since February 11, 2019.
Bryleigh Young was Highland's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Young also led the team in assists with two.
Marion Harding's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Highland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Marion Harding couldn't quite finish off Highland in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 29-27. Can Marion Harding avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
