Ben Bolt was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-9, 25-22.

Ben Bolt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaci Mungia led the charge by getting five kills and three digs. What's more, Mungia racked up six assists, the most she's had since back in August.
Meanwhile, Santa Maria didn't have quite enough to beat Kaufer on Friday and fell 3-2.
Santa Maria took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-16, 16-25, 16-25, 25-6, 15-13.
Ben Bolt's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Santa Maria, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 18-7.
