Patton went 8 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 1 assist, while Patton dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Patton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chance Watkins, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Defeat or not, Mount View got some senior leadership from Tavious Richardson? and Matthias Johnson. Richardson? scored ten points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Johnson. scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Johnson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Jefferson Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 339th in Virginia, while Mercer Christian Academy is ranked 73rd in West Virginia). As for Mount View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Meadow Bridge at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
