The Vanguards came out on top against the Western Pioneers by a score of  28-21  thanks in part to  Sorenson, who rushed for 92 yards and four  TDs, and also threw for 109 yards  on eight of 20 attempts. El Modena is undefeated when  Sorenson posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
