It was a good run, but the Bangs Dragons unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-37 bruising from Hamilton. Bangs has struggled against Hamilton recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Brooklyn Bragg, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds for Hamilton. The match was Bragg's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Massingill, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds.
Bangs' loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
Bangs will head out on the road to face off against Strawn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton will be home for the holidays to greet Lampasas at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lampasas will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 948th, while Hamilton is ranked 273rd).
