Gig Harbor strolled into their game  on Monday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Mount Tahoma T-Birds as they made off with  an  11-1 victory. Gig Harbor got a great performance from  Jake Cuda as he  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and only one walk). Those  nine  strikeouts gave  Cuda a new career-high.
 On the hitting side,  Ethan Mar was a standout: he scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Mason Sams, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Gig Harbor  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Tahoma only posted  an  OBP of  .278.
Gig Harbor pushed their record up to 13-0 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.9 runs over those games.
