The Three Lakes Bluejays won the last time they faced the Crandon Cardinals, and things went their way on Monday too. Three Lakes walked away with a 51-42 win over Crandon.
Despite the loss, Crandon still got an impressive performance from Omar Bailey, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The matchup was Bailey's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kruz Kulinski, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Three Lakes' win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Crandon, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Three Lakes will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Elcho at 7:15 p.m. on December 14th. Elcho will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 461st, while Three Lakes is ranked 228th). As for Crandon, they will head out on the road to face off against Menominee Indian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
