Bailey Posts Huge Game in 46-21 Loss
Starting off the list is Sam Houston's Drew Bailey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bailey rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Bailey could be in store for another big game when he takes on Carencro on Friday. When Bailey last faced the Bears back in October of 2023, he rushed for 229 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry.

Brodie Depriest Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sulphur was led to victory by Brodie DePriest, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. DePriest rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 139 yards and a touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes.
Sulphur moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. DePriest's next game is against Southside on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
