Kongiganak's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They breezed by the Lewis Angapak Blue Jays to the tune of 78-38. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 29 points or more this season.
Sam Lewis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 34 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keon Fancyboy, who posted 15 points.
Despite the loss, Lewis Angapak saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zaret Andrew had 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Andrew has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Anakin Wassilie, who earned eight points.
Kongiganak has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Lewis Angapak, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Kongiganak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-59 loss against Chief Paul Memorial on the 31st. Lewis Angapak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
