Sully Buttes will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Herreid/Selby in at 7:00 PM.
Sully Buttes had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 36-20.
Meanwhile,, Herreid/Selby couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. Last week, they lost to North Border [Eureka/Bowdle/Leola/Frederick] by a decisive 14-32 margin.
Sully Buttes's lifted them to 1-0 while Herreid/Selby's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Sully Buttes can add another positive mark to their record or if Herreid/Selby can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Sully Buttes's step.
