Palo Verde Valley were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Hamilton 41-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-0.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-51, which was the final score in Excelsior Charter's tilt against St. Margaret's last week. Excelsior Charter were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-41.
Palo Verde Valley's win lifted them to 1-1 while Excelsior Charter's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Palo Verde Valley can add another positive mark to their record or if Excelsior Charter can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Palo Verde Valley's step.
