Make it eight blowout wins for the Incline Highlanders this season. Everything went their way against Pershing County on Saturday as Incline made off with a 55-32 win. The victory was familiar territory for Incline who now have six in a row.
Tommy Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Incline's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Abbate, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trenton Rhodes, who scored ten points.
Incline is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Pershing County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11.
Incline will take on Silver Stage at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Stage is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Pershing County, they will head out on the road to square off against Coral Academy of Science - Reno at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
