Triway got a massive performance out of Ashley Braunscheidel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave Braunscheidel a new career-high. Sydney Schumacher also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Triway kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in eight consecutive contests.
As for Ontario, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 26th.
