After losing to Seekonk the last time they met, Apponequet Regional decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Apponequet Regional strolled past Seekonk with points to spare on Friday, taking the contest 21-6. The success represented a nice turnaround for Apponequet Regional, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-39 loss.
The victory bumped Apponequet Regional's record up to 1-2. The defeat dropped Seekonk's record to 1-2.
Apponequet Regional will stay at home next week against Greater New Bedford RVT at 6:30 PM. Greater New Bedford RVT took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Apponequet Regional's good fortune. Seekonk will be defending their home turf for the first time when they go up against Wareham at 7:00 PM. Wareham also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their previous matchup, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
