Kenmore East moved up to 165 from 215 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 6 A - North. The Bulldogs were able to move up by topping North Tonawanda 27-14.
Kenmore East made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,034 from 7,168. The advance stemmed from a 27-14 victory over the Lumberjacks last week.
North Tonawanda's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris Woodard threw for 184 yards and Jacob Ferry had 72 yards receiving. On the ground Woodard chipped in 65 yards. Anthony Tripi helped North Tonawanda's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 49 yards.
