 Meanwhile, Lyman Hall had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They won by a  run and slipped past the Panthers  7-6. That's two games straight that Lyman Hall has won by  just one  run.
  Owen Rich was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Cheshire and  nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Lyman Hall, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record  this season.
 Cheshire might still be hurting after the  16-8 loss they got from Lyman Hall  when the teams last played  back in May of 2022. Can Cheshire avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
