The Kingman Bulldogs waltzed into Wednesday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ash Fork 61-31 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kingman also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Gabril Zeller and Josue Tellez certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Zeller scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds, while Tellez scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds. Zeller scored a full 45.2% of Ash Fork's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Kingman has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 3-4 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Ash Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingman won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lee Williams at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Ash Fork is on the road again on Tuesday and play against St. Michael at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. St. Michael comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
