Bunn lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dj Smith, who picked up 118 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Tyler Perry handled things on the ground, rushing for 97 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Andre Downey Jr had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 182 yards and two scores on only 14 carries for SouthWest Edgecombe. Downey Jr has become a key player for the Cougars: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 4-5 otherwise.
The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-3. As for SouthWest Edgecombe, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
