After three games on the road, Hawthorne is heading back home. They will take on The Anaheim Colonists at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Hawthorne fell victim to Leuzinger's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 49-0 loss at the hands of the Olympians. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, Hawthorne couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, Anaheim also failed to score in their most recent game. They were beaten by Western 54-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Anaheim can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 875th, while Western is ranked 144th).
The losses dropped Hawthorne to 4-6 and Anaheim to 5-5.
