The Marion H Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Kingsway Christian Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Marion H is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
Last Tuesday, Marion H strolled past Gilead Christian with points to spare, taking the game 46-30.
Kingsway Christian fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 48-40 on Tuesday.
Marion H pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Kingsway Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-18 record this season.
Marion H took their victory against Kingsway Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 66-46. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Kingsway Christian's Jadin Himes, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
