Franklin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the West Henderson Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since February 26th.

Franklin's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brock Bradley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

The victory got Franklin back to even at 8-8. As for West Henderson, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Coming up, Franklin will venture away from home to square off against Asheville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. West Henderson will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' contest: after the Panthers faces off against the Cougars, they'll take on West Henderson again at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
