Last Friday, Central Texas Christian got themselves on the board against St. Paul, but St. Paul never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cardinals 40-0 at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Central Texas Christian just coasted through the last quarter.
Tabor Tyson was a one-man wrecking crew for Central Texas Christian as he rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. Tyson's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Meanwhile, New Braunfels Christian Academy took a serious blow against Sacred Heart on Friday, falling 45-17. New Braunfels Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Dillan Wickham, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown, and Crew Wright who picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown. Wright hasn't dropped below 100 receiving yards for three straight games.
Central Texas Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
