The Fredonia Lynx will head out on the road to square off against El Capitan/Centennial Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fredonia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Fredonia posted their biggest victory since November 21, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past Beaver Dam 47-17 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Fredonia has posted against Beaver Dam since January 20, 2017.
Meanwhile, El Capitan/Centennial Academy put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Grand Canyon 55-28 at home. Winning may never get old, but El Capitan/Centennial Academy sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Fredonia's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for El Capitan/Centennial Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Fredonia came up short against El Capitan/Centennial Academy in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 34-25. Can Fredonia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
