Tuff Street Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, LaSalle got the W thanks in part to Tuff Street playing the best football he has all season. Street rushed for 185 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 20 yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.7). His passing game has become a key predictor of LaSalle's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
The win (which was LaSalle's third in a row) raised their record to 3-3. Street and LaSalle will head out on the road to face off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jacorian Shepherd Turns in Season-Best Performance
Montgomery was led to victory by Jacorian Shepherd, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Shepherd rushed for 293 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.3) per game.
The victory got Montgomery back to even at 3-3. Shepherd will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against St. Mary on Friday.
