The Jasper Eagles will face off against the Lamar Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lamar took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Jasper, who comes in off a win.
Jasper took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Osceola 21-3. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.
Chloe Storm was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Storm was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lamar challenged Miller on Monday. The Tigers came up short against the Cardinals, falling 10-2.
Like Jasper, Lamar also got a great game from a two-way player: Lexy Stephen. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and eight unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest earned runs Stephen has allowed since back in April of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
In other batting news, Peyton Eddie made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.
Lamar now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Jasper, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
