HEARTS for Jesus Christ was led to victory by Alex Zelenka and Maria Cottenden. Zelenka scored 9 points along with 12 rebounds, while Cottenden scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Zelenka is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played.
First Baptist Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
First Baptist Christian will head out on the road to face off against Andrews Osborne Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Christian Community at 7:45 p.m. on December 5th.
