On Thursday, Marion never let their opponents score. They blew past the Conway Springs Cardinals 10-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Marion considering their one-run performance the  match before.

 In other batting news,  Gavin Wasmuth and  Jack Lanning did most of the damage at the plate:  Wasmuth  went 1-for-1 with three  RBI and a  double, while  Lanning  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances. Lanning is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Marion  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-2.
