It was a good run, but Horizon unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. Neither they nor the Windermere Wolverines could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Hawks have been dealt a draw since back in November.

Aaiden Guard and Italo Cury scored both of Horizon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

With that draw, Horizon's record moves to 7-4-2. As for Windermere, they moved theirs to 9-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Freedom at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Windermere, they will head out to take on Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
