On Friday, the Evans Knights's game was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Glynn Academy by a score of 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Evans.
They hit Glynn Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Carson Whitener (2),
Calvin Dent, and
Jeremiah Sturkey.
Evans' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Glynn Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Evans will head out on the road to square off against Effingham County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glynn Academy, they will be playing at home against Islands at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
