Volleyball Recap: Leonard Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Leonard came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins, and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Howe Bulldogs.

Leonard took Howe into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 19-25, 24-26, 15-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Leonard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Flowers, who had 54 assists, 23 digs, six kills, and a solo block. The team also got some help from Leah Stoy, who had 29 digs and 27 kills.

Leonard has now won 13 of their last 14 games at home. That gives them a 25-8 record this season. As for Howe, they are now 24-9, having gone 1-2 since their five-game winning streak ended.

Coincidentally, Leonard and Howe will both be playing Pottsboro the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
