Urquidez was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards. Another player making a difference was Christopher Alcaraz, who threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Borrego Springs will square off against Ocean View Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Ocean View Christian is ranked 90th, while Borrego Springs is ranked 71st). As for Horizon Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Julian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Julian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
