Heritage had won four straight games and Becks Hetzel did his part to make it five on Saturday. The Pride were the clear victors by a 63-42 margin over the Washington Leadership Academy Knights with plenty of help from Hetzel, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Davin Crain was another key player, putting up five points. He also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Washington Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will be home for the holidays to greet McLean at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Washington Leadership Academy and Sojourner Truth Montessori will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
