The Xavier Prep Saints will head out to face off against the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Xavier Prep will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, Xavier Prep made easy work of Palm Springs and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Xavier Prep not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Palm Springs between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.

Xavier Prep can attribute much of their success to Aubree Burrell, who had six digs and two aces, and Annabel Frederick, who had 11 digs and five aces. Frederick is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.
They weren't the only good servers: Xavier Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Desert Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School 3-0 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Conquerors in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won eight in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-11.
Xavier Prep's record now sits at 27-5. As for Desert Christian Academy, their record is now 11-5.
Everything went Xavier Prep's way against Desert Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in August of 2018, as Xavier Prep made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
