On Saturday, Hopi was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 44-39 to Round Valley. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hopi in their matchups with Round Valley: they've now lost five in a row.
Many Farms posted their closest win yet this season on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Pinon 48-45. The win was just what Many Farms needed coming off of a 60-32 defeat in their prior contest.
Hopi bumped their record down to 7-9 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Many Farms, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
