There's no place like home for Eau Gallie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Bayside Bears with a sharp 14-4 victory on Wednesday. With that win, the Commodores brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Brock Lustic spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Deklyn Tynan was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Sergio Prieto also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eau Gallie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory snapped Eau Gallie's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-6 record. As for Bayside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Eau Gallie will venture away from home to challenge Harmony at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bayside, they will host Brevard HEAT at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Firehawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.71 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
